Peugeot 207 CC

The Peugeot 207 CC in Roland Garros special edition get up. For those that take being tennis fans really seriously

When you think Peugeot, surely you automatically think tennis? Right? Well, even if you don't, the good people at Peugeot would like you to make the association because they've launched the Roland Garros Special Edition 207 CC and 308 CC just in time for the French Open. For those who think a Federer is a jaunty hat, Roland Garros is the tennis stadium where the French Open is played.

It's a cute coupe cabriolet as the CC in the name suggests, the roof pops up and down quickly (in case of the kind of rain that is more likely to hamper Wimbledon…) and there is a choice of two 1.6-litre engines, one petrol and one diesel. There are two colours to choose from for the 207 – Onyx Black and Bianca White and it comes with £1,235 worth of extras above the Allure trim level, but with just an extra £650 added to the pricetag. As such, it's priced from £18,795.

Other features include aluminium door sills and 17-inch wheels which are called "Melbourne" – which is where the Australian Open is played. They've also chucked in bi-zone air conditioning, an electrochrome rear view mirror, auto headlamps, cruise control and speed limiter, Peugeot Connect with Bluetooth, rear parking aid, electric folding door mirrors and tinted rear windows.

The 308 CC Roland Garros is a bit bigger, has pearlescent paintwork in Nera Black or Pearl White and comes with a choice of two 1.6-litre petrol engines or a 2.0-litre diesel. Priced from £25,845, the 308 includes blue/grey leather seats, 18-inch alloys (the Dark Storm style as seen on the GT hatchback), Peugeot Connect with Bluetooth, front and rear parking aid, automatic headlamps, rain sensing wipers, and Roland Garros embroidered carpet mats and a Roland Garros branded windstop.

Both models have Roland Garros branding a-go-go featuring luxury trimmed leather seats, Roland Garros branded windstop, Roland Garros embroidered carpet mats and exterior badging.
