Mercedes-Benz: The best or nothing
Mercedes-Benz will always have a bit of a trump card when it comes to automotive bragging rights, after all they, or Mr. Daimler, invented the combustion engine car as we know it. And they’ve been at the top-end of the car market ever since.
There have been many classics along the way, but more recently the famous German brand have built a wide-ranging choice of cars, from the smaller city car, to off-roaders, to full-size exec. cruisers. All of them led by the 3-pointed star – through A to S Class – on a big and bold front grille.
While Mercedes still make some super-powerful cars with snorty turbocharged V8 engines, they have also shifted focus to very frugal diesel engines (badged as BlueEFFICIENCY) and into hybrid and electric technology.
