Kia cee'd coming to Geneva

Detroit is still happening but that's not stopping the manufacturers from keeping weary motoring journalists on their toes by flagging up what we can expect from the Geneva Motor Show in March. Kia has raised its head over the parapet this week to let us know that Geneva will be the site for the launch of the new cee'd – or as Jeremy Clarkson likes to call it, the C-apostrophe-D.
Kooky punctuation aside, Kia hasn't revealed too much about the new cee'd apart from a single photo of the front end and a few morsels of information. The styling is definitely a hatchback but the lean lines and raked angles are coupe-inspired. There's also a more meaty looking front, chrome-framed windows and Kia has promised an upgraded interior. There's no news at this stage as to what is under the hood. Petrol? Diesel? Hybrid? All three? We'll have to wait and see.
We're expecting the tech specs to be revealed at Geneva – and hopefully a few other goodies on the Kia stand – but the much improved Korean automaker has confirmed that UK deliveries for the new cee'd are expected from June.
