I was wondering what the team behind the Top Gear Live shows were going to do for their 2011 events at the Birmingham NEC and ExCel London – how to keep us punters entertained over and above the three-way banter between Jezza, May and the Hamster.

Well this freshly-filmed video from the NEC shows – that have just finished – it’s London only now from 24th to 27th November – clearly shows in hot ‘n’ fiery detail some of the petrol-powered shenanigans to expect.

The indoor track looks much bigger than last year with all sorts of silly to seriously-serious vehicles getting more space to greatly increase the pace. Even more pyrotechnics, motorbike jumping and multi-car stunt driving look to have taken the 2011 performances at Top Gear Live to the next level. 

I’ll be popping down on to ExCel London on Thursday 24th to take in the show for myself, and I have to say now, with this video-enticement, that I’m pretty excited.
